Butt acne is much like facial acne or other forms of acne, both in terms of how it forms, the embarrassment it can cause and the variety of ways it can be treated. In general, it is usually caused by glands in the skin producing excess oil. This overproduction of oil can eventually block the follicles causing blemishes. This is similar to what happens with facial and other forms of acne also. In addition, aggressive growth of bacteria on that part of the body can lead to clogged follicles, causing the same result.

There are two ways to fight against butt acne, from the outside and from the inside. From the outside methods, we already mentioned the cloths you wear and the cleaning products. Under no circumstances, do not squeeze your pimples or you will make them even worse. Instead, clean your butt two or three times a day with a chemical neutral soap and use creams rich benzyl peroxide or salicylic acid that can help in drying up the pimples on your butt. Also, prevent the appearance of pimples from the inside, by drinking water and eating healthy.
