Practically everyone has had acne in their life and it can be very frustrating when considering the various remedies for treating it. Make a paste out of fresh cucumber and apply it as a mask. Leave it on for half an hour then rinse it off. This is another of the more pleasant and fragrant home remedies for curing acne.
Colloidal oatmeal sold as a bath treatment can be mixed with a little bit of water and made into a paste. This can be applied during a bath or shower and then rinsed off, taking with it excess oils.
Ice down the acne before bed, by morning it should be noticeably better. Works best on larger pimples that have not yet formed a head. Because it is a method of reducing the swelling and helping the acne “re-absorb” it should prevent scarring.
Take 6 - 8 uncoated aspirin tablets in cup or bowl and crush them in to a powder.Add a few drops of warm/hot water, allow vera gel or honey, now stir until you have a thick white paste. You may need to add more water to achieve the right consistency.
Before bathing, apply a mixture of tomato pulp – real tomota pulp, not packaged one – honey and rose-water to your face and keep for twenty minutes before washing off.
Home face wash for acne: Mix together 1 or 2mls each of the following: witch hazel, tea-tree and sweet fennel essential oils, adding essential oil of geranium for women and essential oil of rosewood for men. Mix with 300mls of water. Shake before use, as the oils will float on top of the water during storage. Dab affected areas with cotton wool two or three times a day. The oils will clean and unclog giving antibiotic-like protection to the skin.
