Everyone experience acne at some point in their lives. The most common area that is affected by acne is the face, but other parts of the body can be affected as well. The second most common area is the back. Since you often don’t look at your back it can be difficult to be aware of the acne there. In order to know how to get rid of acne on your back you first need to understand how acne on your back happens.

To get rid of these scars permanently, there are a few treatment options you can follow. The popular and the most effective among them is Chemical Peeling. This method comprises of peeling off of the top most layer of the skin by means of applying certain chemicals. The new skin that is replaced will be free of scars. However, it is important to choose the right chemical peel to treat your scars on the skin. Most of the peels are based on acids like TCA( Trichloro-acetic acid) Glycolic acid, phenolic acid etc. While they are effective and get the job done, they come with inherent dangers. Acids when they come in contact with skin they burn it. If they come in contact with clothes, they burn it. Hence, it is important to use such acid peels with a lot of caution and should always be hospital administered.

The extra oil on the surface of your skin can block your skin pores. This kills off the cells which can’t escape the skin. This dead area then attracts bacteria and leads to the formation of acne.

Try to drink at least two liters of still mineral water daily. When the skin is dehydrated, dead skin cells remain on the skin which may block pores and promote acne.

If you have been prescribed antibiotics to control your acne, remember that antibiotics destroy all kinds of bacteria in your digestive tract – even good bacteria. Without good bacteria,
you will have poor digestion, constipation, and be less able to absorb essential vitamins, minerals and nutrients.

This, in turn, may lead to increased acne production since your body cannot expel waste effectively. Toxins pass through your skin instead. To prevent this from occurring, replace the good bacteria in your digestive tract with a good quality probiotic.

Whiteheads form when oil, dirt and bacteria are trapped below the surface of the skin. Blackheads, on the other hand, form when the trapped elements beneath the layer of the skin turn black because of melanin.

Either way, the exact cause of acne is relatively unknown. This is a common skin condition which affects most people, no matter what gender, skin color or age.

Acne is more common among adolescents but adults may also experience it.

Acne among teens may cause more of an emotional than a physical problem, because of the hormonal changes that they experience before being full-fledged adults. Thus, aside from the physical treatment of acne, you may also need some emotional support so that you will not experience a lowered self-esteem because of this skin condition.
